OH NO, i don't want to read all this! Let me just look at the prints
Hi, this is my latest hare-brained project - to cut 100 block prints in 100 days.
Most of these prints are cut from erasers bought from W H Smiths. Usually the plain white ones, 34mm x 44mm at 49p (they are 3 for 2 right now... YAY), and a few jumbo pink ones which are 44mm x 79mm

For the bigger ones, like the bluebell and the dragonfly, I copped out and used some Speedball Speedystamp, which you can get in quite big sheets, but is not as nice to cut as the white erasers... if you could get them 6 or 8 inches square I'd be very happy... but, frankly, who is going to want an 8 inch square eraser, I mean for erasing?
The coloured one of the poppy was a disaster - I got a pack of 4 neon erasers which turned out to be like cutting rather firm jelly... i won't be trying that again.
I started cutting them with one of those lino cut tools with the red plastic handle, which was ok but not very fine. Then i found a set of "Abig" cutting tools, which was only about £3.50 - the veining tool is really fine and sharp and lovely to use.

Then the block is printed using a stamp pad into a jumbo jotter from Jarrolds (nice paper).

Ok, thanks for reading. If you want to email me, especially if you know a place to get big erasers, please do
